Joe Moglia

From Wall Street to the Gridiron, Moglia’s journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

In 2012, Joe became the Head Football coach at Coastal Carolina. In his first five seasons his team went to the National Playoffs all five years and was Conference Champions four times. His overall record is 56-22 and in his last 11 years of college coaching, he was a part of eight championship teams. He has won multiole awards for coaching including the Eddie Robinson National Coach of the Year, the Vince Lombardi Award, and was inducted into the Lombardi Hall of Fame.

Joe has been a football coach for 25 years, but it’s not been a traditional 25 years. He began his career as a coach for 16 years, moved to the business world for over 24, and back to football in 2009.

In business, Joe served as the CEO of TD Ameritrade from 2001 to 2008 and Chairman of the Board from 2009 to 2020. Under his leadership Joe grew TD Ameritrade’s worth from $700M to $100B as client assets grew from $24B to $7 trillion. He is the recipient of multiple awards for Leadership including the Sharp Trophy and has been honored by many organizations including the American Institute for Stuttering. He has authored two books: The Perimiter Attack Offense and Coach Yourself to Success: Winning the Investment Game and Monte Burke wrote a biography of Joe called “4th and Goal”.

Moglia's impact transcends the game itself. Through his motivational speaking engagements and philanthropic endeavors, he has become a beacon of inspiration for individuals from all walks of life.


Merril Hoge

Merril played 22 years of football including 8 years as a running back with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Chicago Bears. He has operated football clinics for 20 years, led the pro league Your Call Football (YCF) and was a head coach in the league for 2 years. Merril has also coached Youth Football for many years.  He is a Best-Selling Author and Inspirational Speaker.

In 2018, with the national discussion on Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE) at its peak, Merril released Brainwashed: The Bad Science Behind CTE and the Plot to Destroy Football. He collaborated on the project with board-certified forensic neuropathologist, Dr. Peter Cummings, to take an unbiased look at the facts surrounding this misunderstood pattern. Together, they conducted a provocative examination of the science, as well as the hysteria around CTE and how it is being manipulated to serve an agenda.   

CTE: Common-Sense Advocacy

In the years since his career-ending head trauma, Merril has championed concussion research, resisted the hysteria surrounding the disease, and become an informed advocate in the prevention and treatment of brain injuries.  

2009: Testified at a congressional hearing on football head injuries, challenging legislators to institute a head-trauma protocol for players ages 8-18

2010: Appointed in 2010 to the NFL MTBI Committee, which initiates research and advises the NFL on best practices for concussion prevention and management

2010: Named to the board of directors for USA Football, the sport’s national governing body on youth and amateur levels

2011: Invited by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell to serve on the NFL’s Return-to-Play Subcommittee which deals with head, neck, and spine cases

2011: Met with senior officials at the Pentagon to discuss the military’s tough-guy culture and instilling the benefits of leaders suffering a concussive head injury to voluntarily remove themselves from a situation as the best course of action for the troops under their command

2011: Participated in the NFL-USO Tour to Afghanistan with Matt Millen and Hall of Famer Anthony Munoz, visiting troops overseas

2012: Helped launch Heads-up Football with USA Football

2014: Became an active part of the USA Football Advisory Committee

Merril’s first book, Find a Way: Three Words That Changed My Life, was released in 2010. It is a moving memoir in which he shares the simple philosophy that guides him to this day and has enabled him to overcome obstacles throughout his life.


Chris Leupold

Chris is an accomplished football player, coach, and businessman. His passion, humility, and commitment to make the world a better place is unparalleled.

Chris played football for the University of Oregon from 1985-1989. He was a three year letterman and two time academic all-conference. He coached youth football in the San Francisco Bay Area for 8 seasons where he became known as one of the most energetic coaches on the field.

In business, Chris has been with Merrill Lynch and now Bank America Merrill Lynch for thirty-one years. As Head of the Western Region, Chris is responsible for Bank of America Merrill Lynch's institutional debt and equity business for the Western U.S. Chris was previously head of all research sales, sales-trading and prime brokerage sales for the Americas Equity Division of Merrill Lynch. In addition, Chris has sat on Merrill Lynch's Diversity, Managing Director, and Research Review Committees. Chris holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations as well as having an economics degree from the University of Oregon and an MBA from Harvard Business School.  Chris also serves as a director at Leupold and Steven’s inc. one of the world’s leading sports optics companies.


Joe Galat

Joe is the President and Founder of American Youth Football and Cheer (AYF). AYF is the largest youth football organization in the world.

Joe’s leadership began early as Captain of the Harvey High School (Painesville, Ohio) and Miami University (Ohio) football and wrestling teams. Agt Miami University, he was eleted President of gthe Varsity Letterman’s Club and was nominated Outstanding Athlete his Senior year. His playing honors included selections to the Ohio All Star High School football team and All-Mid-American Conference at Miami University.

His coaching experiences has spanned all levels of the sport, including the NFL as assistant coach of the New York Giants and Houston Oilers, the Canadian Football League as Head Coach and General Manager of the Montreal Allouettes and British Columbia Lions. Joe also coached in college at Miami University, Yale University, the University of Kentucky, and Youngstown State University. He coached on six championship football teams, and five championship wrestling teams. Joe coached over 100 All-Conference players and three NFL hall of famers.

After coaching, Joe moved into the media box as a national color comentator for CBC-TV Sports. Joe has participated in youth football clinics in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and throughout Europe. These experiences have given Joe the distinction of having held every position in organized football.

Joe was inducted into the Miami University Hall of Fame alongside legends such as Paul Brown, Weeb Ewbank, Ara Parsegian, and John Harbaugh.

Joe combined his passion for football and business to become Vice President of Sales for Fieldturf Inc., where he led the organization to become the leader in the sports surface industry.

Joe also served our country in the United States Marine Corp Reserves.

Joe lives in Miami, Florida with his wife, Faye, where he writes blogs for the AYF and enjoys outdoor activities like kayaking and cycling. Joe and Faye have five children and twelve grandchildren.
